Role and duties:
Full H&S compliance
Ensure strict compliance to the regulations and client specifications
Supervise electrical installation teams according to BS7671 to completion, and customers’ specific requirements
Manage subcontractors
Maintaining plant records
Keeping progress and preparing timely reports
Conduct regular comprehensive quality control inspections of electrical installation works in progress to ascertain compliance with regulations and prescribed specifications; ascertain competence of operatives or subcontractors engaged in such works, and provide documented reports of findings
Budget management with good commercial awareness
Carefully review electrical specifications provided by clients, interpret requirements, notify on any inadequacy or inconsistencies identified with regards to provisions therein, and rovide advice on its requirements.
Advise and support Contract Managers with regards to all technical requirements of BS7671 and NICEIC practices.
Attend regular customer meetings or any other meeting when requested, and provide Contracts Managers with progress reports
Ensure the utmost confidentiality in dealing with all records and information you become aware of in the course of works, pertaining to the company, Customers or staff.
Manage resources (manpower, materials, equipment and service suppliers) to meet the known PPM plan
Motivate teams to achieve results
Required licences or certifications:
3+ electrical supervision experience with LV and MV

Sintec UK is a London based mechanical and electrical contractor that provides a wide range of professional installation services, specialising in automation technologies for material handling and storage systems. We have carried out projects worldwide, notably in UK, Europe, USA, Brazil, Australia and other regions. We are global service provider, installing conveyors systems and other equipment for companies such as Amazon, Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury’s, Ocado, BMW, Nestle and many others.
THE ROLE We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join the SINTEC UK team. This role is ideal for someone looking to apply their construction project management skills in a dynamic environment. The position entails a 70% office presence in Riga and 30% travel, including international trips to various sites in Europe and the UK. Candidates should possess a full EU Driving Licence to accommodate the travel requirements of this role, enabling them to efficiently manage and oversee projects across locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Taking ownership of small and medium-sized projects • Liaising with Site Managers and site teams to monitor progress and maintain tracking documents • Handling disciplinary actions, managing complaints, and providing training within the site, with HR and H&S guidance • Assisting with the annual salary review for site-based workers • Planning and allocating teams for various projects • Supervising procurement and site management activities • Controlling the progress of projects, ensuring accurate and timely submission of progress reports for invoicing purposes • Supervising the delivery, order control, and management of cables, containment, and small mounting materials • Attending office and planning on-site meetings to discuss project progress and coordination • Proposing subcontractors and suppliers based on project requirements • Managing the budget and resources • Controlling the use of access equipment and storage containers on sites • Performing any other duties commensurate with the role • Supporting the estimation department with project tendering when required • Preparing Offers for variation orders during Project execution • Tender meetings.
